The Giants had a lead after Bobby Bonds took Wilson deep in the top of the third, but that's all the Giants would get off of Wilson. They had their chances to do more damage leaving nine men on base.
Meanwhile, the Astros offense took a while to get started, but they have another good game giving Wilson plenty of run support. Joe Morgan was a one man wrecking crew for the Astros. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 on the strength of two doubles and a single.
