Astros history project game 6

May 10, 1978

Astros (Mark Lemongello) at Phillies (Jim Lonborg)

The Astros jumped on Lonborg early scoring 3 runs on 6 hits in the top of the second. They added another run in the fourth to send Lonborg to the showers. However, the real story of this game was the pitching of Mark Lemongello. He allowed just four hits and one walk in eight shutout innings.

Roger Metzger went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI.
