1962-63 Mini-Replay Game 19

New York at Montreal

New York dominated this game from the start. At one point they had a 34-13 shots on goal advantage. Only Jacques Plante's steady goal-tending kept the Habs in the game for the first two periods.

1962-63 Mini-Replay Game 18

New York at Chicago

This started out like a wild and crazy barn-burner before settling into a Black Hawk rout.

Chicago scored a couple of early goals before the Rangers responded with a pair of their own. Ab McDonald didn't let the tie last long and the Black Hawks go to first intermission leading 3-2. The rest of the game would be all Chicago as they win 7-3.

Pierre Pilote really took it to the Rangers.

1962-63 Mini-Replay Game 16

Boston at Montreal

Montreal dominated the first two periods out-shooting the Bruins 26-10. Yet, all they had to show for it was a lone Gilles Tremblay goal. Tremblay would later leave the game with an injury and is essentially done for the rest of the replay.

The Bruins tied the game on a Tommy Williams goal early in the third period. And that's how it ends - a 1-1 tie.

Montreal desperately needed a win rather than a tie as they are now 0-5-1 while Boston is 3-2-1.
