1971 Cubs (Fergie Jenkins) vs 1971 Astros (Don Wilson)
Baseball can be a funny game. Fergie Jenkins shut down the Astros for 6 innings allowing just one base runner. Then in the seventh the Astros collected 4 straight hits to take a 2-0 lead. After leading off the inning with a double, Joe Morgan scored on Jimmy Wynn's single. Doug Rader's single brought Wynn home with the second run.
Although Don Wilson was pitching well, the Cubs certainly had their chances against him. They would finally break through with a solo homer by Jim Hickman in the 8th, but that would be all the scoring.
