1921 Indians @ 1921 Yankees

I played this game with Sherco using the Polo Grounds Stadium chart that someone was nice enough to email.

In the first inning Babe Ruth hit a 2 run blast that was - well, Ruthian. It would have been a homer in any stadium.

In the 7th inning the Indians finally got to Waite Hoyt. Elmer Smith tripled on a ball hit deep to right center that would have been a homer in pretty much any other park. Joe Sewell followed with a fly ball that became a home run thanks to the short right field dimensions of the Polo Grounds. The Indians added a couple more in the inning to take a 4-2 lead that would be the final score.
