1962-63 Mini-Replay Game 10

Montreal at Chicago

The visiting Habs started quickly with two goals in the first. Then Mr. Kenny Wharram went to work in the second delighting the home crowd with a hat trick. The Hawks added another goal by Reg Fleming and in the course of one period they go from losing by two goals to winning by two. Montreal struck back with a goal in late in the third to make it a 4-3 game. They had some good opportunities to tie the game thanks to some bad penalties by Chicago, but they just could not get that game tying goal despite out shooting Chicago 12-6 in the final period. Chicago is now 3-1-0 while Montreal remains winless at 0-4-0.
