OUCH! Another game where the Rockets
shoot well (52.7%) but their opponents shoot even better (60%).
Actually, it was even worse than that because the KCO starters sat
the entire fourth quarter after building up a 33 point lead on the
strength of a sizzling 69% shooting performance through the first
three quarters. Tiny Archibald led the way for the Kings with 28
points on 13 of 19 shooting. Sam Lacey (10-11 fgs) and Nate Williams
(11-15 fgs) each added 24 points.
Rudy Tomjanovich was awesome again for
the Rockets with a game high 29 points (13 of 19 shooting). 6
assists, and 5 rebounds. Calvin Murphy finally had a good game with
18 points (8-15) and 6 assists.
